Task manager

Task manager

From almost any page in Cohabit, you can open the "task manager". This is the easiest way to review your cleaning and check it off as you complete it.

Opening the task manager

Suggested task sets

Cohabit typically presents your cleaning list in sets of task cards like this:

These cards are typically grouped by location and give you a quick snapshot of what needs to be done in each zone, or if it is complete. To open the task manager, you can click anywhere on the card to view its contents.

Generic task manager

If you have no cleaning, or you want to get a more generic view (not focused on a specific zone or timeframe), each set of cards ends with a final button that opens a generic task manager.

Using the task manager

Changing the filters

The top of the task manager displays a natural language description of the filters that are currently applied. For example, "Your tasks in the downstairs kitchen are due this week". To change these filters, click "Show filtering options" next to the title, and you will be presented with a list of options to choose from.

Viewing task details

If you want more context on a given task or to edit it, you can click on it conveniently by selecting the i button next to the assignee and due details. This will open up the task details, with options to edit, reassign, or delete it.
